McAllen Economic Development Corporation (McAllen EDC) reserves the right to change any aspect of the Rewards for Referrals program at any time as long as active members receive 30-day notice. Changes can include rewards, credit, eligibility standards, rules for referral information and redemption. McAllen EDC will provide up-to-date information regarding Rewards for Referrals on its Web site rewards.mcallenedc.org. The information posted reflects the current conditions and information related to the program and supersedes any previous information posted about the program. Rewards are at the discretion of the McAllen EDC and can be changed without notice to members. McAllen EDC reserves the right to discontinue the Rewards for Referrals program at any time with 60 days notice to members. This means that existing registered members will have 60 days after discontinuation of the program to post referrals, earn points and redeem those points for rewards.
Information provided by registered members becomes property of McAllen EDC; however, the organization will not share this information with any person or outside entity. As a condition of membership, you consent and authorize McAllen EDC only to use your information to keep you informed of program changes and other pertinent information. As a registered member of Rewards for Referrals, you will create a log-in name and password that allows you to authorize your account. You may not delegate or grant any power of attorney or other authorization to access your account with McAllen EDC. Any other use of the Rewards for Referrals program account information is prohibited. You can use information regarding your own account for personal use and, in consideration of this authorization, you agree that any copy of such information shall retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained therein. Redistribution in any way requires the express written consent of McAllen EDC. Access to Rewards for Referrals account via mcallenedc.org is allowed for registered members only and is subject to the limitations and restrictions on use set forth therein. If you need to update/change your personal information, you may login to your account and click Edit Profile. To protect your confidentiality, when conducting certain transactions in writing, by phone or on the Internet, you must supply your password.
You can have only one Rewards for Referrals account, which is established under your full first and last name and a valid email address. Only you may earn points. This program is not linked to any other organization or referral program. Corporations and/or other entities may not enroll as in the program- only individuals.
McAllen EDC employees and their immediate families, as well as those under contract with McAllen EDC, are ineligible to participate in this program.
Your password is unique to your account and is designed to protect your account from unauthorized use. Your password will be required when entering referrals or claiming rewards. McAllen EDC is not responsible for any lost, stolen or otherwise disclosed passwords, nor shall it re-credit any points deducted from your account if anyone trades in points for a reward under your password. Your password should be guarded and not provided to anyone other than a staff member at McAllen EDC.
Not all referrals submitted earns points under the McAllen EDC Rewards for Referrals Program. These include, but are not limited to:
McAllen EDC reserves the right to exclude certain referrals. Program discontinuation Points currently have no expiration date; however, McAllen EDC reserves the right to impose expiration dates or terminate the Rewards for Referrals program, thus terminating a member's ability to claim rewards through the program.
